DAWN Advice principally employs telephone advice Caseworkers operating in the following categories of law:- Debt, Housing, Employment and Welfare Benefits. Although there are no immediate Caseworker vacancies, we continually review our staffing levels. As a result of this review process, there is a possibility that further posts may be advertised.

Future applicants will :

• Have an understanding of social welfare issues – experience in any one of the specific areas listed above is advantageous.
• Relevant qualifications in law may be beneficial but are not essential. As category specific training is provided, the ability and enthusiasm to further develop necessary skills within a supportive and innovative team is more important.
• Have experience in handling difficult or complex situations over the telephone.
• Have basic administration skills to supplement the casework requirements.
• Be able to demonstrate the ability to provide exceptional customer service.

Full and part time positions are usually considered with a starting salary of £16,995 increasing incrementally to £19,055 based on successful performance over an 18 month period. We operate a contributory pension scheme after a qualifying period and offer 29 days a year holiday entitlement plus statutory bank holidays.
