As England's World Cup Campaign steps up the Association of Chief Police Officers (Acpo) has warned the country faces an increased risk of domestic violence as the eagerly awaited tournament continues.
During the World Cup 2006 reports of domestic violence to police forces in England and Wales rose on average by 25 per cent on England's match days. Domestic abuse can take several forms, ranging from physical and sexual to economical and emotional abuse.
