Successful social enterprise DAWN Advice has appointed a new staff member, Tony Errington.

Tony, 44 from Monkseaton, is the new Support Services Manager, a role newly created by DAWN's recent expansion of its Senior Management Team. This job will require overseeing all operational aspects of the business, from IT and telephony to billing, invoicing and premises management.

Tony says that he is ready for this new challenge after spending 20 years working for Newcastle City Council.

He added: "I am relishing the change of pace and am settling in really well. It is very exciting to be part of an organisation that does such fantastic work both in the local community and on a nation level."

DAWN Advice Chief Executive Liz Chadwick said: "I am delighted that Tony has joined the team at DAWN. He will make a great addition and we hope that we can steer the company towards even greater success in the future."

In his spare time, Tony enjoys playing cricket and is an active member of Monkseaton Cricket Club, who play in the Northumberland Cricket League.

Set up in 1998, DAWN Advice is a Northumberland-based social enterprise and a member of the UK's largest network of free, advice-providing organisations, adviceuk. It offers advice and information on a number of issues including debt, housing, employment, welfare benefits and family law.
