About Tony
It was through a previous position working for Social Enterprise Northumberland that Tony was first introduced to DAWN Advice. He worked closely with the organisation's Senior Management Team as a professional adviser, providing support and advice, developing an excellent awareness of DAWN Advice and its specialist needs as he worked.

Tony's strong understanding of DAWN Advice, plus his background in social enterprise, gave him a huge advantage when he joined the Board of Trustees in 2005 and later became Chair in 2008.

As the Chair of DAWN Advice, Tony's core responsibilities are to liaise with the organisation's Board and its Chief Executive to ensure that key decisions are made to help drive DAWN Advice forward: he provides leadership to the Board and ensures that Trustees fulfil their duties and responsibilities. Tony also acts as a representative of DAWN Advice on an external level.
